Over the years Mumbai has seen wave after wave of bars and restaurants that come and go. A few have stuck around with huge success, but now there’s a new kid on the block, think modern-American with Korean influences. Cue One Street Over. With its speakeasy vibe (instant cool points), aesthetically-coloured interiors and laid-back ambience, it comes as a breath of fresh air amongst its neighbours. What catches our attention the most is the fact that it’s helmed by ex-Ellipsis chef Kelvin Cheung in collaboration with Chef Boo Kwang Kim, who has previously worked at Chicago-based restaurant Little Goat. The menu is slick and has been pared right down to selection of well-thought-out and complimentary dishes, along with a fabulous cocktail list.
Drinks-wise, leave it to popular mixologist Arijit Bose to sweep you off your feet with his insanely innovative cocktail menu that boasts of delicious new concoctions. From strong and punchy to light and elegant, straight up and smooth to fruity and delish, these are the cocktails you need for a perfect night out! The place might not be one street over from your house but looks like it’s Mumbai’s freshest hangout for excellent food and drinks.
