With Fashion Month officially coming to an end, it brings with it yet another series of trends that make us want to fast forward to Autumn… like, NOW. Catch up on all incredible fashion that emerged out of Paris Fashion Week' AW 17 below –

The all-time-fave Trench Coat went rogue in Paris. And how! While we’re all for oversizing this classic, like Nehera in pinstripes, we loved Junya Watanbe's medley of prints and patterns that added a touch of modern bohemia to the classic staple. Stella McCartney and Maison Margela nailed wearable in sartorial checks and romantic cutouts respectively; while Anne Sofie Madsen goes abstract with a shorter silhouette and plucked threads.

It’s the outerwear trend that is not going anywhere, anytime soon. We adore the cape-dress by Lutz Huelle’s while Paskal’s hooded cape with 3D flowers is throwback to the fantastical Red Riding Hood. And even though Issey Miyake and Alexis Mabille master the waterfall silhouette, it's Chloé’s boxy shoulders and chunky buttons that make for the perfect party cover-up.

Who would pass up the chance to walk around with a duvet when the temperatures drop… and still work it like a top model? From Cynthia Xiao’s plush burgundy velvet coat to Chanel’s pristine metallic pink wrap, textures were in full play on the catwalk; Undercover teamed abundant layers with an asymmetric hemline; Lutz Hoelle brought their A game with denim and neoprene, while Aalto turned to leather and cotton. Think you can pull it off?

It was all about head-to-toe leather-ing on the catwalk. Celine and Loewe went minimalistic and modern; Maison Margela and Shiatzy Chen showed us how to add texture and patterns in leather, both stunning and original. Take note: When have python-print and ruffles ever disappointed? We’re obsessed. And finally, in Saint Laurent, leather and fur fused to create a sophisticated and inspired design in classic tan.

Deisgners broke away from Parisian black to make a case for soft silhouettes, fit for a princess. Cinderella comes to mind when one witnesses Lanvin and Rochas’s pale blue moments; Zuhair Murad goes for collegiate-chic with snow-white fur and victorian pleats; Alessandra Rich and Ingie Paris look to the popular peplum and Bardot trends for inspiration.

The posh suiting trend took on a life of its own at PFW ’17. Nehera and Issey Miyake played with layers and coordinates; Loewe and Aalto were more than interesting with their choice of shades, while Acne studios took the modern bohemia route with a flowy jumpsuit and floral sleeves.
