OUR RED CARPET FAVOURITES
If there's one clique you don't want to belong to, it's the worst dressed list. And boy, does our hitlist of best dressed never fail to surprise and awe. From Gigi Hadid, Nina Dobrev, Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld to Ariana Grande the girls brought their A game to the awards. Hailee Steinfeld looked diva-esque in a caped Elie Saab romper, Selena stunned in all-red Prada, and Ariana channelled her inner sexy chic in a vintage black lace bustier with a pair of Alexander McQueen pants. What's not to love, right?
Off-the-shoulder (no surprises there!) had its defining red carpet moment courtesy Gigi and the dare-to-bare squad. The supermodel kicked off her night with a bang in an off-the-shoulder Victorian-inspired Roberto Cavalli Couture gown. Zoe Saldana took a more fresh approach with a sequined striped Monse dress over a pair of black tailored trousers. Both Teyana Taylor in Steven Khalil and Tinashe in Michael Costello had similar ideas, each opting for a sexy sheer black gown for a knock out night. Off-the-shoulder - totally on point!
Menswear for women? Not all that new. But with Lady Gaga's chic white Brandon Maxwell suit paired with a dramatic wide-brim "Joanne" hat, Nina Dobrev’s heavily embellished Zuhair Murad shorts suit, and Bella Thorne's take on a three-piece suit (Anthony Franco tux jacket, embroidered Josie Natori pants and a bra), it indeed felt new! Not to miss the trend pack, Gigi got on board and nailed the look by putting her own spin on the pantsuit with an embellished tassle jacket and high waisted shorts by Julien Macdonald. If you aren't too keen on running with the pant suit look, step up and slip into our collection of playsuits, perfect for your night outs.
