You probably know the name Sarah Todd, and have watched her cook up some delectable dishes in Season 6 of reality television show MasterChef Australia. Now experience her excellent culinary delights at Antares, her newly opened restaurant and beach club in Goa. Antares is a haven for foodies. Fresh organic ingredients are clubbed with exotic flavours and classic cooking techniques to present dishes such as charcoal grilled red snapper, potato gnocchi with truffle béchamel, and Australian smashed Pavlova. Australian bartender Nathan Ford’s fruity cocktails like the classic kiwi blueberry mojito and the exotic coconut sorbet champagne float, make for the perfect pairings. 

Overlooking the Indian Ocean, at Vagator beach, Antares was designed by restaurateur Ashish Kapur and Todd. Wooden furniture set against cool grey walls gives the interiors an earthy, contemporary feel. The restaurant features an installation of LED lights that shows the constellation of Scorpius—Todd’s zodiac sign, of which Antares is the brightest star, and hence the name. A day bar, the 250-seat modern Australian restaurant, 13 villas, an infinity pool, a beach club, and a store selling a curated selection from the country, gives you the perfect reason to spend an entire day at Antares, pampered by Todd and her team.
