Paramore is back. Your inner teenage emo can rejoice! Their newest album is more 80s pop then early 2000s emo and we’re massive fans. Comebacks are great, but only when the band grows with their audience, Paramore has done just that. ‘Told You So’ will be the tropical tune of summer 2017.

MØ wrote the most streamed song of all time, Lean On in 2015, so it’s no surprise that she’s dominating our summer playlist. Teaming up with Charli XCX the duo has created 3am, an electro banger that embodies alt-pop.

Summer romance gone wrong? This is the song for you to mend your heart with. James TW’s husky voice and acoustic melodies provide some much needed respite in this scorching heat. For lazy days at the beach, this song needs to make your playlist.

This 20-year-old Norwegian singer will be big, trust us. For a sassy summer song, Sigrid is your go-to gal. With lyrics like “You think you’re so important to me don’t you? But I wanted you to know that you don’t belong here” it’s hard not to feel like a #girlboss.

The 1D boys are all grown up, and this track proves it. Niall’s debut solo song was a let-down, but slow hands is a sexy, tongue-in-cheek creation. It’s pure pop, but sometimes a little bit of cheesiness is good.
