1. Jim Chapman
The British vlogger and model’s idea to stay clear of a proper tuxedo earned him loads of style points. The impeccable fit of his green and blue checked suit is a cue to take home. Slick and super-smart!
2. Jaden Smith
During his days as The Fresh Prince, Will Smith rejigged rapper style with printed tracksuits and super roomy jeans. Over two decades hence, his son Jaden is making waves for his style choices. Rightly so, he along with sister Willow were awarded the New Fashion Insider at the event, which he attended in a Gucci striped suit. (Ps. watch his new video Fallen)
3. Derek Blasberg
We can’t get over how fresh the pink velvet jacket looks on the American writer and bestselling author. Teaming it with black trousers was a great choice, allowing the rich hue to shine out brighter.
4. Alessandro Michele
Decked up in one of his own creations, the Gucci creative director lent a new name to red-carpet suiting. Bold and eccentric, his three-piece over-the-top attire brought in a vintage celebration, with flared trousers, a shiny finish, and magnified bow-tie.
Craig Green won the award for the best British Menswear Brand, for his label Craig Green. His futuristic style aesthetic and the ability to add modern stance to classic patterns can be seen in this striped co-ord set from the AW16 collection. Designers nominated along with Green for this award were Grace Wales Bonner for Wales Bonner, Jonathan Anderson for J.W.Anderson, Tom Ford, and Dame Vivienne Westwood for Vivienne Westwood.
Have a red carpet soiree to head to? The cue: Dress your best. Go for a black-on-black outfit, broken in with a coloured velvet jacket. We suggest a burgundy one that will give it a suave and luxe finish. Don't forget to top it up with a dapper bow tie.
