Creatively inclined folks are often known to be experimental with their dressing. In contrast, Manish is always impeccably turned-out, dapper is his style, with a keen eye for detail. On him you’d spot freshly-pressed subtle-print shirts, crisp chinos, and suede shoes with a hint of colour. Here are his favourites for the season.
1. Creative obsession: Designing spaces. Zen and sensibility were the driving forces when I did the interiors for my home. So, I’ve given it French windows that overlook a Japanese-style garden, and double-height ceilings.
2. Favourite restaurant: Perch Wine & Coffee Bar at Khan Market, New Delhi. The weather is perfect to sit outdoors and sip on wine or coffee, accompanied by good food.
3. Trend to watchout for: Crew-neck pullovers. These classics have been given a new lease of life this season.
5. Holiday destination: I can’t get enough of Istanbul. Divided between Asia and Europe, this city perfectly mixes the two cultures.
These jeans follow the rip-and-repair trend without being too grunge and distressed.
Scarves add visual interest to your look. This contemporary one can be worn with your dress-up and dress-down outfits.
The orange laces and stitching on the sole are just right when you need a pop of colour.
If you want to add an edge to a simple outfit, wear a printed shirt.
