It has been heralded as the city that never sleeps, where art and theatre blend in with the stock exchange, and dining experiences are inspired from across the world. If there’s one city that you must visit this month, make it Mumbai.

No trip to the city is complete without a tour of its galleries and museums. Start with the oldest—Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Mumbai City Museum. The exquisitely restored Palladian building in Byculla exhibits an extensive collection that documents Mumbai's history from the late 18th to early 20th centuries. Later in the day, wander around Kala Ghoda. Known as the art precinct of the city, here you’ll find a cluster of galleries and museums like Jehangir Art Gallery, Gallery Beyond, Delhi Art Gallery, and National Gallery of Modern Art.

What to wear: Go for easy and relaxed, with an eclectic touch. Think these KOOVS printed trousers paired with a white deep V-neck tee, and Icon Brand neckpiece. Finish off with these Vans boat shoes that are extremely comfortable to walk in.

Restaurateur Zorawar Kalra is known to offer an innovative molecular gastronomic experience to his guests, focusing on Indian cuisine. With his newest venture Pa Pa Ya—at Palladium Mall—he expands to the rest of Asia. This modern bistro and tapas bar revolutionises pan-Asian with plates like sushi burgers, falafel-like edamame and chickpea sliders, and grilled chicken and avocado tacos. Other places prominently making a mark on the city’s gourmet map are Le 15 Patisserie, The Bombay Canteen, and The Table.

What to wear: In Mumbai, fashion leans towards deft detailing. So, go for a printed shirt like this Selected Homme piece, layered over a white KOOVS vest, and paired with these slim-fit jeans by Blue Saint. Finish with these simple grey New Look plimsolls.

Theatre plays an important role in the life of Mumbai's denizens. From regional plays to ones that lend a modern twist to classics, there are a wide variety of performances to choose from everyday. Two spaces standout as great venues for a theatre fix—Prithvi Theatre in Juhu, and National Centre for Performing Arts at the southern tip of the island.

What to wear: With creative minds around you, it’s time to be stylish. Pick these KOOVS drop-crotch jog pants and team with this colour-blocked T-shirt by Blue Saint. These KOOVS textured high-tops and Wanderlust wristband will give you street cred.
