Oh Yeah, the drunk out season is back with the world's biggest beer festival. This time bigger than ever, The Great Indian October Fest 2011 is talking figures & volumes of the carnival unseen in India. Peeking over six years of bash at Indian style beer festival, this is technically seventh edition of TGIOF 2011.

Long lost bands and the most loved ones shoot their electrifying musical performances with fresh beer pouring like Amazon from the fresh breweries to raise the fever of madness. Not to miss the finger-licking foods, eclectic shopping at the bohemian flea market, display of gorgeous antique cars and street games, slipping out placards of unlimited fun this Octoberfest.

The intellects can find their space too at TGIOF 2011 with the entire country combining in style and art, while displaying their talents live at the art centre. It is not just a festival for the youngsters but the festival to turn young. Yes, come down with your family, participate in a variety of fun competitions, paint ball and scream till your chords. Beer guzzling event is going to be another massive hit amongst beer lovers at this Kingfisher carnival.

The fest also holds a treat for F1 lovers as the winning car from Force India will be put on display in addition to the Fiat 1100 Club of Bangalore that will display old models of Fiat to the latest model at the fest. Well known artists will also participate in the art festival during the fest and all creations will be based on the theme of Oktoberfest.

This desi version of German Oktoberfest has a lot that's up on our minds and could a lot more than ever!

TGIOF 2010

The Kingfisher October Fest 2010 was held in Bangalore from Oct 22nd to 24th where the extreme metal band from UK and Lacuna Coil, the multi-award winning melodic Goth metal act from Italy were headlining. There were a lot of bands that played over the 3 day fest (Theorized, Requiem, Eccentric Pendulum, Slain etc.)

The best part of Kingfisher Premium Great Indian October Fest was the continuous flow of Kingfisher draught straight from the breweries to the stalls. DJs Swing and Lost Stories closed the night with a mix of house and electronic and set the tempo for the next two days of this Good Times carnival. The Great Indian October fest 2010 was bigger and better this year than all the years in the past. Last year alone it penetrated an audience of over five million, saw over 15000 liters of beer guzzled at its venue within 3 days, hosted 7 festivals and 26 bands and was attended by over 50,000 people. What more would a Bangalorean desire when the beer is flowing just perfectly, than calling out the next year. Ahoy, The Great Indian October Fest 2010.

TGIOF 2009

The Great Indian October Fest 2009 marked a graduation from 'just a drinking festival' to a large scale beer carnival this year. Held at the regular sprawling spot of Bangalore, Palace Grounds TGIOF 2009 had set the good times rolling. With 22 bands from across the country performing live, the fest saw a terrific combination of live acts spanning from Jazz, Heavy Metal, Reggae, Funk, Hindi, Kannada, International Acts and some of the best of Indian Rock performances.

The festival was a store house for all the binging bellies with professional bartenders and yummy food courts. Holding the beer cans, more the beer fans, waited for the next year coming of Beer Festival, just Indian Style!
